Performance appraisal is very difficult and becomes increasingly more so.The person who submits the Confidential Report is often judged unfairly. If one misses a promotion it is often thought to be “a dislike you have towards them and promotion of other colleagues seen as subjective favours granted to them”. It is often difficult for an individual to objectively judge his performance. We often do not evaluate our performances only our intentions. KYKO helps the leaders to know what motivates a person, what is the force in him that forms the basis of his behaviour in the work environment. The leader can create a productivity level by providing the appropriate organisational structure and job design which address the strong inner drive that people possess for growth, competence and self actualization. He learns to acknowledge and appreciate hard work. The tests according to me are a in fact two edged (I would not call it a sword) which helps the tester to know about himself, his organisation and his work force. KYKO test can in fact help the organization evolve a matrix which would be the agglomerate of all the aspects like environment and circumstances in the work place policies of the administration, qualities of the leaders, security, status and working conditions. Then one can correlates these factors to the interpersonal relations one has with ones peers and examine his personal life in the light of these factors. These fit in perfectly with the Five Dimensions: SA+M+E+SO+SE. It is a great self analysing tool too! I admit I was procrastinating (LSA) and I agree that it is situational as I moved out of it soon!!
