KYKO is an integrated model of personality developed from multiple theoretical constructs via the psychodynamic, social cognitive, humanistic, traits, behaviorism, evolutionary and existential schools of thought incorporating the needs and deprivation theories.

KYKO combines the compatible theories and concepts of contemporary psychologists to develop its five dimensions. The five dimensions are Self-Actualization, Egocentricity, Socio-centricity, Security, and Manipulative, described as follows:

Self actualization

Defined as the need for achievement growth fulfillment and to find meanings in life. This dimension was established based on the hypothesis that human beings lie on the continuum of being relatively normal and being abnormal. Normal personality means being relatively healthy in his or her psychological and mental dispositions which explain why the person has a high need for self-actualization. Abnormal human being is classified into two types. One is the Psychotic personalities which are those suffering from almost a total loss of rationality and are confined to the mental asylum. The second is the Neurotic personality which has a low need for self-actualization and is found everywhere in the market. This dimension is particularly useful in making decisions on hiring potential performers.

Egocentric

Defined as the need for power, image, status, dominance, taking charge and to control the environment. This dimension was established based on the hypothesis that human personality lies on the continuum of being relatively assertive and being submissive. Assertive personality is highly egocentric while submissive personality is lowly egocentric. This dimension is particularly useful for the determination of job fit particularly in an environment where you need an assertive personality to put things on the right track.

Sociocentric

Defined as the need for affiliation, love, care, comradeship, belongingness, social interactions and acceptance developed form the hypothesis that human personality lies on the continuum of being sociable and being asocial. Sociable personality is highly socio-centric while asocial personality is otherwise. This dimension is for decisions on job fitting especially when the organization needs high socio-centric people for customer service and orientation, building networks, promoting public relations and to work together as a team.

Security

Defined as the need for safety, order, system, structure, precision and protection developed from the hypothesis that human personality lies on the continuum of being pragmatic and being adventurous. Pragmatic people are needed for organizational efficiency, system compliance, quality control, maintaining stability, planning and organizing resources. Adventurous personalities are needed for innovation, initiating changes and work requiring travelling and new experiences outside the office.

Complexity

Defined as the need for information, change, adapt, influence and the use others for survival and growth and to satisfy dominant needs. This is developed from the hypothesis that human personality lies on the continuum of being dynamic and being static. Dynamic personality is complex and has multiples selves. Such personalities are sensitive to the environmental influences and have the ability to manipulate the other four dimensions to suit a purpose. It explains why their behavior may be inconsistent and varies with the situation and across time. A dynamic personality has a deliberate choice between normal and neurotic, assertive and submissive, sociable and asocial, and pragmatic and adventurous to adapt to others idiosyncrasies, mobilize resources, win support and influence others to make things happen. This personality is useful for position fit especially selecting people to fill management level positions.

KYKO is a powerful, diagnostic tool making use of abbreviations of the intensities of the five dimensions supported by existing psychologists to audit human behavior. Every behavioral interpretation is supported by a group of psychologists and is free from human bias.
